These terms and conditions cover our basic web hosting service only and exclude dedicated servers.

By using our basic hosting service, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

Service provided by Freeway Projects Limited

Our basic hosting service includes:

  1. Webspace
  2. Domain hosting and renewal
  3. Email

Our current fee for basic web hosting service is £120 + VAT per year.

Services not included

Our basic hosting service does not include any website maintenance; i.e. security patching, updates or upgrades. We offer this as a separate service, charged monthly – please refer to our website for more details.

Limitation of liability

Freeway Projects makes no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied for services we provide. Freeway Projects cannot guarantee any data stored on our services, and while we make every effort to maintain and protect our servers, our basic hosting package does not include any backup provision. This must be arranged separately or maintained by the customer. Freeway Projects disclaims any warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This includes loss of data resulting from delays, non-deliveries, wrong delivery, and any and all service interruptions caused by Freeway Projects and its employees. Freeway Projects reserves the right to revise its policies at any time.

Customers Responsibility

It is your sole responsibility to make regular back-up copies of your website data and files. Even though we may make our own periodic back-ups for server maintenance purposes, we are not responsible whatsoever for your data or files.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you do not upload or store indecent or offensive material including (but not limited to) pornographic, obscene, threatening or abusive material.

You may not use our email services to send messages or communications which are unsolicited, nor any that are indecent or offensive including (but not limited to) pornographic, obscene, threatening or abusive material.

In the event that any unauthorised material has been uploaded or sent from our servers, we reserve the right to remove it immediately, suspend services and inform any relevant authorities.

Website Services and Updates

In order to maintain our systems, protect our customers and comply with data protection regulations, we regularly update the software running our servers. Occasionally these updates can cause incompatibilities with existing websites.

Due to the critical nature of security updates these compatibility breaks are sometimes unavoidable, but we will make every effort to provide you with advanced notice of any such changes. Where possible we will make efforts to mitigate the effects of such changes, however updating any hosted websites or data to conform to changes in the platform remains the sole responsibility of the customer.

We cannot be held liable for any break in service caused by such changes in the platform.

Cancellations

To cancel the hosting service you must inform us in writing via email or letter.

Support

Our support team will help resolve any problems you have with the hosting services you are receiving.  However, we will not provide programming support to you. Programming support is extra and will be charged at an hourly rate of £55 + VAT.

We do not currently offer a support time service level guarantee but we will use our best efforts to resolve support issues in a timely way.

Payment Policy

Freeway Projects reserves the right to change prices of services at any time, however pricing is guaranteed for each period of payment. The service will be invoiced yearly the date the service was established, with payment due within 28 days.

All invoices will be sent directly via email to the specified contact address. No bills or invoices will be sent via postal mail unless requested.

Any requests to alter or cancel the service must be received before an invoice is generated and the customer is responsible for all money owed on the account from the time it was established until we receive a valid notice of cancellation.

Services that are unpaid past the due date may be suspended and terminated. Any data may be removed from our servers and we hold no liability to any losses incurred due to non-payment.

Our right to make changes

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in market conditions affecting our business, changes in technology and changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements.
