Branded bus design for Devon Business Show event

Devon Chamber of Commerce is the largest network of businesses in the South West and is providing business support, events and training to all size business in the region. They organise one of the biggest business event of the year, the Devon Business Show, held in Plymouth, in the month of October.

To increase awareness for this major event, Freeway Projects was commissioned to design the graphics for a designated branded city bus, which is operating different routes around Devon for an extended time period, to advertise and promote the Devon Business Show.

Design process

The exterior of the bus was painted in the Devon & Plymouth Chamber of Commerce brand colour, and the designed graphics were digitally printed and applied as separate cut out vinyls. The challenge was to create a visual and memorable design with impact, giving an aura of exitement for the event whilst making the text legible at a distance and when driven past at speed.
